Rebecca from Healthy Balance Pilates is a certified matwork Pilates teacher offering engaging, dynamic, and feel-good classes at Picketts Barton Spa.

Book individual or small group sessions during your stay – perfect if you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, boost your posture and unwind both body and mind.

​

Sessions are designed to be energising, accessible, and always tailored to you – whether you're new to Pilates or practise regularly. The session will be held within the spa retreat or weather permitting, outdoors in the meadow, by the lake or under the tree canopy.

 

Alongside private classes, Rebecca runs community matwork classes as well as chair Pilates for all abilities. In 2025, she taught Pilates to over 100+ participants at Vegan Campout and the Bear Grylls Gone Wild Festival.

EXPERIENCE DEEP RELAXATION

sound baths & meditation

Marcia from Sound-Awakening specialises in providing rejuvenating Sound Baths designed to promote deep relaxation and overall well-being. Let the soothing vibrations guide you to a state of peace and harmony.

 

A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are 'bathed' in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, chimes and other percussion instruments.

RESTORE BALANCE & CALM

private yoga sessions

Coral is an experienced and intuitive yoga teacher, offering bespoke, private sessions designed to restore balance, calm the mind, and gently reconnect you with your body.

 

Take the opportunity to slow down and unwind with a private yoga session in the comfort of your accommodation - a chance to fully settle into rest and rejuvenation. 

 

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to you and your group, offering a welcoming space to step away from everyday demands and reconnect with your body and breath through movement, meditation, and breathwork. Whether you prefer an energising flow or a slower, more restorative practice, your session will be shaped around your needs. All equipment is provided, and no experience is necessary.

For a deeper level of relaxation, yoga can be paired with Reiki energy healing - a gentle, non-invasive treatment designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and restore balance. You can also book Reiki as a standalone experience for a quiet, meditative reset.

​

There’s also the option to create your own bespoke retreat day, combining experiences such as yoga, reiki, forest bathing, or guided mindfulness.

​

Set within the peaceful surroundings of Picketts Barton Spa, this is your time to truly switch off, reset, and return feeling balanced and renewed.
