At Picketts Barton Spa, it was important to us to create a countryside retreat that feels as inclusive and welcoming as possible, helping every guest relax in comfort.

For guests using wheelchairs or with limited mobility, accessible parking is available beside the retreat, allowing wheelchair users to unload easily onto a portable reinforced flat platform which provides access to the decking area. A rubber ramp is positioned at the front door, with two lightweight portable up-and-over metal ramps available for access into the kitchen and master bedroom.

Inside the accommodation, wide 800mm doorways have been designed to better enable wheelchair access throughout. Of the two bedrooms, the master bedroom offers accessible entry into the en-suite bathroom and shower area.
